Sierra Cook Founder and Therapist Fearless Counseling Midtown Kansas City MO

Sierra Cook,

MA, LPC, NCC
Founder | Licensed Therapist
Sierra Cook, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with Fearless Counseling. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2022 and brings a steady, thoughtful presence to her work with teens, individuals, and couples.
Sierra works with clients navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem struggles. Her approach is goal-oriented and person-centered, drawing on CBT to help clients move from insight to real, lasting change making sure to always meet people exactly where they are.

In the room, Sierra shows up as herself . warm and friendly, but not afraid to challenge you and push you when it matters. She believes real growth happens when you feel both supported and gently pressed to go further than you thought you could.

For Sierra, becoming a therapist has always felt like a calling. She believes therapy should help people face life with trust, confidence, and resilience. Inspired by the idea that courage isn't the absence of fear, but the willingness to move beyond it. Above all, she's committed to creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and safe enough to do meaningful work.
Kaitlyn Engelbrecht Therapist Fearless Counseling Midtown Kansas City MO

Kaitlyn Engelbrecht,

MA, PLPC
EMDR Trained
In my therapy room, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, curiosity, and learning to navigate life’s challenges with greater self-understanding and self-compassion.

I work with children (10+), adults of all ages, and couples. My ideal client struggles with depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, or alcohol use. I also help those navigating life transitions and relationship challenges. I aim to tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs and goals. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT, DBT, and ACT) as well as EMDR. I strive to help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may feel lost, stuck, or unheard.

As a therapist, I value creating an environment that feels gentle, nonjudgmental, and affirming — a place where growth can unfold naturally in every season of life.

Layana Sariah Therapist Fearless Counseling Midtown Kansas City MO

Layana Sariah,

MS, PLPC
EMDR Trained
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy—it isn’t about fixing who you are. I believe healing does not have to be faced alone, and you deserve a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel met with true care and respect.

Our sessions are a safe, grounded space where we can balance deep, meaningful work with a little bit of shared laughter. Together, we’ll gently explore and make sense of the underlying patterns that leave you feeling drained or defeated. Using a Person-Centered approach, CBT tools, and training in EMDR, I provide compassionate support tailored to children, teens, adults, couples and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Change is possible, and it starts with understanding. You don’t have to keep feeling stuck in cycles; I am right here beside you to help you build clarity, resilience, and steady, meaningful progress.
Addison White Therapist Fearless Counseling Midtown Kansas City MO

Addison White,

MA, PLPC
EMDR Trained
I believe healing begins in the presence of genuine connection. Therapy offers a place to make sense of your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and develop a more compassionate relationship with your own story. My background in mindfulness and yoga informs my belief that healing involves the whole person, including the connection between the mind, body, and lived experience.

I work with older teens and adults who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences. Many of my clients are thoughtful, reflective individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, disconnected from themselves, or have spent years feeling misunderstood. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating trauma and neurodivergence as they learn to understand their unique experiences and needs. Together, we explore the patterns that have shaped you, reconnect with your strengths and values, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

My approach is grounded in understanding the whole person and the experiences that shape who you are. I integrate attachment-based approaches, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and my background in yoga to support healing, self-understanding, and growth. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we honor your story, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change that feels authentic and aligned with your values.
